The Joint Services Directorate is linked electronically with the government and is continuously updated with governmental rules, regulations and decisions. One of the top priorities of the directorate is to ensure that the functioning of the college is in tune with the present and future needs of the nation. In addition, the directorate is responsible for the preparation of plans and programmes for the implementation of justice, thereby enabling every member of staff to carry out his or her responsibilities in an atmosphere of security as well as in an effective manner in order to achieve a high standard of quality.
The major task that the directorate is focused on is the identification of interested and suitable Qatari nationals who will be placed in appropriate positions, along with training them in technical and administrative work, thus preparing them to take up positions of responsibility in the future.
A critical role that the directorate plays in the college is in the linking of the Department of Joint Services with the other departments. The directorate has been very successful in developing the main framework for the action plan for each department.
The directorate is leaving no stone unturned in focusing their knowledge, skills and dedication to ensure that the college is at par with advanced nations. The directorate recognizes that progress is linked with effective management of human resources and so takes great efforts to ensure that work at all levels of the college goes on smoothly and meets international standards of efficiency and quality.
